PSA - Clean your sewing machine!

I was reminded this week of the importance of keeping your sewing machine clean. I was starting the quilting on Mary's quilt pattern and my machine jammed up. It didn't take me long to figure out why.

I pulled this out from underneath my bobbin. Ewwwwwww. There is more in there too, that I am still trying to get out. So, I haven't been able to sew for a few days while it's being cleaned.

Oh well, it served as an important reminder to take care of your machine and keep it clean! Don't let this happen to you ;-)

Dino quilt pictures!

Ah, here they are, as promised, Yay me!! I finished! And I actually got pictures uploaded too.

Now, I'm working on a quilt designed by Mary of October Eight http:// http:// http://octobereight.blogspot.com/. I just finished the quilt top and will be starting to quilt it today or sometime this weekend. I love the way it turned out too. I loved all the pink's in Mary's quilt so much I had to make one for myself:-)
