Ok,I admit it

I'm addicted. I've made 3 quilts already from Dana's quilt along and now I've started another one. I can't help it. It comes together really quick once you get the hang of it and it looks so pretty, all those colors and gorgeous fabric that I've been hoarding being put to good use;-)
This go-round I decided to use all Heather Bailey fabrics. I love her stuff. Boy oh boy do I.
This is mostly Freshcut with some Bijoux and Pop Garden thrown in.
I actually have the top mostly assembled right now but I haven't taken a pic yet. I just need to add the border.
But that will have to wait a little bit because I am starting the quilting on my Grandma's quilt now. Remember I said I was going to do the 9 patch and it would be all purple. Yeah, that just didn't work. I laid out all the blocks and there was just something about it that I didn't like.
So onto the next:-)
I decided to use the stacked coins quilt that I fell in love with from AmandaJean.
A while ago I had cut up 2 Spring Magic charm packs to do this quilt and I sewed them all together, added the sashing and was so happy. It came together super fast, like 1 day. Can't beat that!
Wrong. When I pressed it I noticed that it was all warpy. Not cool.
AmandaJean was so nice to help me out. She asked if I had pinned the sashing. Umm, whoops.
I didn't even think of that. Duh.
Sure enough, I did alot of seam ripping and re-sewed the sashing on, PINNED, and it looks great now.
OK, so that was a really long winded explanation, huh?
Well, I appliqued the kids hands and feet last night and got it all sandwiched and pinned and ready to quilt.
So that's what I'll be doing for the next few days.
