How cute are these?! They are so much fun to make and got me out of my sewing slump to boot!
I"m a bad blogger and haven't taken pics yet, but I did get all the flower appliques cut and am basting them now for the Woodland Bloom quilt. I'll be working on this for the Spring sewing Party, since the order I had placed earlier ended up being canceled:-( Long story, a misunderstanding with the seller on ebay. Oh well.
And, even though it's not listed on my CG&G projects post, I started, and am more than half way through sewing the top for a quilt for my ds, who will be 7 on March 6. He's been asking me to make him a new one for awhile since he outgrew his dinosaur one, so I thought it was a perfect opportunity to get it done in time for his birthday☺
I'll definitely be making some more of these tuffets. I have to anyway since I bought a 7lb bag of crushed walnut shells for filling! That will make ALOT of pin cushions,LOL!
I am so ready for the weekend already and this has been a short week with the holiday Monday. How about you, ready for the weekend?

Cute little Tuffets! :-) I'm hoping for a sewing weekend as the week has been too busy. ;-) Have a great weekend!
Your Tuffets are so cute - and they are just so much fun, aren't they?? Can't wait to see your Woodland Bloom - and your quilt for DS!! Thanks for the giggle -- I had to get a huge bag of crushed walnut shells too -- we'll be swimming in pincushions, and still have filling left LOL!!!
Love the Tuffets! I just bought a big bag of crushed walnuts also and I was thinking the same thing.
Can't wait to see the quilt that you make for your son.
Glad you are getting out of your sewing slump! Why is always the shortest weeks feel the longest?? Have a great weekend.
