Charming finishes!!

Whew, scooting in right under the deadline here. I just finished putting the binding on the purple quilt a few hours ago!

My goals were:

1. Finish up my son's quilt. Not done:-( I don't know what I was thinking that I could accomplish finishing all these things this month. Nuts! I'm going to be taking it a little easier in April. ☺

2 & 3. Two quilts for Margeret's Hope Chest for 2 little girls who will be turning 7 in April.
Done and Done☺

4. Start on my cousin's baby quilt.

Not even close. I don't even the fabric picked out yet, YIKES! ;-)

5. Make some potholders. Done.
I made a few of these, but I only took the one pic.

And even though it wasn't on my official to-do list, I made blocks 3, 4, and 5 for Rachel
s pinwheel quilt along-link on my sidebar.

Fabric is the lovely Verna by Kate Spain.

And blocks 2 and 3 for the jelly roll sampler quilt along, also on my sidebar. ☺

Fabric is Wonderland by Momo.

Now, my poor machine is out of commission for a few days while I wait on a new foot. I broke mine. I also had a few mishaps while quilting the pink quilt. I ran over my finger, the needle went all the way through my nail and out the bottom of my pointer finger. That hurt, let me tell ya! But it wasn't the first time and prob won't be the last. Who knew quilting was such a dangerous job? LOL

Oh your poor finger. You deserve a few days off after all you got done. A very ambitious month! I'd like to know more about your Hope Chest project.

And, your blocks are lovely - I was thinking of joining the Jelly Roll Quilt Along - and using a Wonderland Jelly Roll - I think you just threw me over the edge LOL! You do lovely work. Great job Lisa!!!
