2. Catch up on my pinwheel blocks. DONE.
For block 8 we were supposed to choose our own block. I made the double Z. I love how you can see the X and pinwheel in the blue block and in the green one you can see a star, pinwheel and X just by changing the placement of fabrics.
I made 2 of these as well, but I had "helpers"( a little 3 foot tall one) and misplaced it when I was taking pics.☺
Over the weekend I also made 6 more blocks. I want my quilt bigger than the quilt along size and I don't want to use sashing so I am making more blocks. I'll show you them later.
3. Jelly Roll Sampler Blocks:
DONE although I don't think I took a pic of them yet. I made 2 and have 1 more to make this week.
4. Make Julie's Hexagon blocks. *Sigh.
I'm making progress. See my last post for more into my issues with these blocks. But! I am moving along and cutting up more fabric and working on them. So I guess this gets a 1/2 done check? ☺
Live and learn. Quilt making is definitely a learning experience. I don't know if we ever really stop learning and that's a good thing. ☺

I really like your last blocks that you made for the sampler...really cute. They all turned out nice. I know several people are making larger pinwheel samplers, so I can't wait to see yours all done.
What lovely finishes this month! Your little guy looks SO HAPPY! And, I love your pinwheel blocks! Way to sew girl!
