Last summer my mom was visiting relatives in Nebraska and she saw this quilt top that she fell in love with. It was one of those times where you end up kicking yourself for just not buying it, but at the time she thought it was too expensive. It was more than $100 and my mom is not a quilter so she had no idea how much it should cost.
Anyway, we've been looking high and low for a pattern to replicate it since and we've found nothing. She does not have a picture of it. She describes it as a crescent/moon shape dresden quilt, where all the crescents sort of stack next to each other.
Has anyone ever heard or seen a quilt like this or know where she can get a pattern for it? Know the real name of it? I'd love to know that too, so I can search more accurately☺
Thanks for any help you can give!

could the pattern be the Clam Shell pattern - they sort of look like cresents...

Bummer, I asked her and nope, it's not the clamshell pattern. :(
Okay, I'm thinking of a quilt I saw in a magazine - it had half moon type pieces all placed in a circle - and then around each circle/plate - it had triangles. Does that sound like it might be similar - if so, then I'll dig (and dig and dig LOL) until I find it to send you a pix!!!
