Little Birdie's Embroidery project

I don't know yet what I am going to do with this. I kinda thought I would turn it into a little throw pillow. It is worked almost entirely in DMC Floche and the stitches I used were split stitch, satin stitch, leaf stitch and long and short stitch, and a few lazy daisy's. I am completely new to hand embroidery so it's certainly not perfect, but I'm fairly happy with how it turned out. I certainly need more practice though! Especially on satin stitching. Weird, it's one of the most simple stitches to work but one of the hardest to get it to look just *right*. Ah, well, practice makes perfect. I hope, at least:-)
