Hubby requested the same pattern I did for my Uncle Mel's quilt.
This was made with the super hard to find fabric that I was looking for back here. I gave in and bought 1/2 yard of it.
It measure about 65x75
Fabrics are from Andover's Lights, Camera, Action and Robert Kaufman's Pleasures and Pastimes.
Stippled in White. I don't really like it on the sashing, but I didn't want to use black and have it detract from the lighter prints and the back.
Backing is leftovers from the quilt top except the film reels. I had bought them for the borders on the front but it was way too big of a print.
To say he loved it is an under-statement:-) He watches tv with it every night and sleeps with it every night too.
He was speechless when he opened it. Can't ask for a better reaction than that!
He is a HUGE movie buff and a screenwriter, so this is the perfect fit for him.

I'm so glad you got the pricey fabric, it was worth it! It's such a great quilt. Love the popcorn fabric in there, that is so fun!
You nailed this one. And it was a surprise? Incredible. I'm so happy he loves it, Lisa. But- you knew he would!
